From Himalayan mules to temple elephants, camels abandoned after tourism collapse, and bulls rescued from fighting rings, Animal Aid Abroad and its partners are delivering veterinary care, sanctuary and dignity to animals whose suffering often goes unseen.

On June 22, Help in Suffering and the Camel Rescue Centre in Bassi marked World Camel Day with a community celebration that combined education, welfare awareness, and recognition of exemplary camel care.
