Expanding Our Reach: New Partnership to Support Working Equines in Egypt
Your compassionate support is allowing us to expand our reach with a new partner group: Animal Care in Egypt (ACE). ACE are based in Luxor and provide free veterinary care for working donkeys and horses in this region. Thanks to your kind donations, we will be assisting ACE by providing funding for essential medications.

Bulls, Oxen & Calves Rescued from Illegal Transport in India
With your heartfelt donations, the Visakha Society for Protection and Care of Animal (VSPCA) are currently caring for 62 buffaloes and horses at their shelter. In addition, they recently undertook a heartbreaking mission to rescue 34 animals who had been illegally transported in shocking conditions.

Camels in India’s Tourism Industry Receive Vital Veterinary Care
Our partner group, Help in Suffering (HIS), recently held a special camel camp in Jaisalmer, located in the remote Thar Desert. Here, they provided essential treatments for camels who do not usually have access to proper veterinary care.

New Beginning for Donkeys in Israel: Psychological Rehabilitation at the Hope Complex
At Starting Over in Israel, a new area has recently been added to their sanctuary for donkeys who require psychological rehabilitation from an animal behaviour therapist. They are currently caring for 65 donkeys in their sanctuary.

The Lake Zone Animal Welfare Organization (LAZAWO) in Tanzania have been striving to ensure donkeys working in gold mines receive the veterinary care, attention and compassion they deserve.
With your incredible support, they reached nearly 500 donkeys during February.
Progress for Working Donkey Welfare in Zambia: Local Partnerships Driving Global Change
With your generous donations, the hardworking team at Zambezi Working Donkey Project (ZWDP) recently provided 275 donkeys with essential veterinary care. They noted that many owners are responding positively to education and are changing practices to protect the welfare of their animals.

Our partner group, the Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA), are continuing in their mission to improve the lives and welfare of donkeys in Malawi. They recently reached 115 donkeys and continued educating owners on various aspects of animal welfare.
