Our partner group, Friendicoes, run a mobile vet clinic for equines working on the streets of India. These animals have gruelling days in harsh environments and often endure severe illnesses or injuries without proper care. However, with your wonderful support, the Friendicoes team can reach these horses, mules, ponies and donkeys to alleviate their suffering.‍

At the Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) in Bassi, India, 166 working camels were provided with essential veterinary care during August. These special animals are so often overlooked or neglected, but the CRC team always extends care and compassion to provide suffering camels with comfort and relief.

Recently, Animal Nepal’s sanctuary in Dukuchhap opened their doors to several groups of veterinary students from around the world. This is an important part of their work, as by allowing students to meet the rescued equines and learn about animal welfare, rescue and rehabilitation, the next generation will be inspired to address broader animal protection issues in Nepal.
