Due to your compassionate donations, the rescued animals at Animal Nepal’s sanctuary can live out the rest of their lives in peace and serenity. They receive the very best of care, and experience joy and comfort every day.

The latest report from the sanctuary is below:

Thanks to your amazing support, the Zambezi Working Donkey Project (ZWDP) are continuing to make significant advances towards a Zambia where working donkeys are free from suffering and are treated with compassion.

September was a very busy month for the ZWDP team but, thanks to your kind donations, they are able to report on some exciting outcomes for working animals. So far this year, they have helped an astonishing 2,161 donkeys!

Action for Protection of Wild Animals (APOWA) are one of our fantastic partner organisations in India.

With support from your heartfelt donations, they are reducing suffering and enhancing the wellbeing of horses and bullocks through their Working Animal Welfare Project.

Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) are currently caring for over 120 rescued working animals at their sanctuary in Bengaluru, India.

Due to your brilliant support, they are also spreading kindness and teaching respect to improve the lives of all working animals in their community.

Our fantastic partner group, Help in Suffering (HIS), recently held a camp for working equines at the Luniyawas Fair, or “Donkey Fair”.

With your compassionate support, they were able to assist 204 equines in need of veterinary care and treatment.

An important part of caring for donkeys in the mining communities of Tanzania is providing adequate feed and nutrition. With help from your wonderful donations, Lakezone Animal Welfare Organization (LAZAWO) have instigated a crucial donkey feeding program in Mgusu - a mining area particularly affected by drought.

So far, 778 donkeys are benefitting from this feeding program.

Our partner group, the Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (LSPCA), treated an incredible 198 donkeys during September.

Although they faced several challenges, with your support they are enhancing the welfare of working donkeys through essential veterinary care, humane equipment and owner education.

At our partner sanctuary in Shaitrawa, India, dedicated Friendicoes staff ensure every rescued camel receives care and attention, nutritious feed, refreshing water and the freedom to roam and explore each and every day.

During the past three months, they have also been able to assist 65 additional animals in need.

Last month, our partner group Starting Over in Israel flew 50 rescued donkeys to their forever homes in Europe. They also had the first rain of the season - a very welcome guest!

With help from your generous donations, there are currently 46 donkeys being treated in Starting Over’s intensive care unit known as the Hope Compound.

Thanks to your compassionate support, our partner group in Tanzania - Lake Zone Animal Welfare Organization (LAZAWO) - are continuing to provide care, comfort and healing for the hard-working donkeys of Geita’s gold mines.
