Forty-six rescued donkeys in Israel are currently receiving the special love and care they always deserved, thanks to your incredible support.

The Gili Islands and Lombok Island are home to over 300 working horses.

Rainbow and Mamba are two of these horses who have retired into the care of Stud Horse Riding & Rescue.

With assistance from your kind donations, Blind Love provided 84 donkeys and 77 horses with free veterinary care during October.

Action for Protection of Wild Animals (APOWA) are one of our partner groups in India. With assistance from your heartfelt donations, they are dedicated to reducing the suffering of working animals in India.

During October, 92 working animals - mainly bullocks and horses - received essential veterinary care through APOWA’s mobile clinic. They also vaccinated and dewormed 211 animals. 

Last month, the dedicated Help in Suffering team at the Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) in India had some interesting cases involving not only camels but also a goat and a buffalo.

With you by their side, the team at Lake Zone Animal Welfare Organization (LAZAWO) are continuing their dedicated work assisting donkeys in desperate need. They are particularly focused on helping donkeys working in treacherous gold mines in Geita, Tanzania.

Help in Suffering is a large animal welfare group in Jaipur, India that assists many animals by way of a camel hospital, mobile clinic and rescue.

Animal Aid Abroad supports HIS's camel clinics and rescue.

The Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary is not only a safe haven for its resident animals, it also serves as a vibrant learning center — a place for awareness-raising, hands-on training, and education in compassion-based animal care.

Throughout 2025, the generous support of Animal Aid Abroad and its sponsors made a profound difference in the lives of residents by providing lifelong care, medical treatment, and a peaceful home for rescued and retired working animals.

The Blind Love sanctuary and team in Zaire, South Africa provides a home for horses in need and assists animals in nearby communities through education and veterinary services.

In 2025, a couple of the Blind Love horses required ongoing veterinary care, however with careful attention both have recovered fully.

Nowzad is committed to rescuing abandoned donkeys and training members of the community in better equine care in Afghanistan and Ukraine.

2025 has been an eventful year, including the huge challenge of relocating the entire sanctuary!
