Over the past month, APOWA and their dedicated mobile clinic has reached an impressive 101 animals, including horses and oxen—providing them with essential healthcare services that directly benefit both the animals and their owners.

What a beautiful spring day it was in Perth on Sunday, 14th September, as we celebrated the exciting closing function of Animal Aid Abroad's 2024 Inaugural Art for Animals Auction! Our amazing AAA volunteers did a fabulous job displaying over 150 stunning pieces of art, ranging from photography to painting, pottery, metalwork, and quilting. August in Thaba'Nchu was a month filled with dedication and care, as the Blind Love team continued their mission to bring relief and support to the horses and their owners. An amazing total of 82 horses attended their outreaches! 

After meeting with the owners during Blind Love’s July outreach in Jozi, a new area, the team was excited when the owners suggested another community in desperate need of support. This area is known as Rhini, Extension 8. Once again, the Blind Love team enlisted the help of SPCA Officer Maloli to spread the word to the owners...

The LAZAWO team has made a huge difference this month in Kinyang’erere village! They held a major clinic and cared for an amazing 253 donkeys in July-August. The team treated 233 donkeys for various issues, including wounds, tick infestations, eye infections and colic. Para-vet Steven went the extra mile by following up on 125 donkeys and treating 20 new ones in nearby villages.
