Blind Love Working Donkeys July Update - A Breakthrough in Jozi for Donkey Welfare
The Blind Love team decided to head to a new area called Jozi in June. The goal was to connect with new donkey owners but getting word out was difficult. The outreach didn’t work as planned, so the team returned in July with help from Maloli, a dedicated SPCA officer who knew the area well and notified owners.

Starting Over July Update - Rescue to Recovery: How Your Support is Healing Donkeys from
Take a look at so many heartwarming photos of rescue, recovery and healing. As of today, there are 53 donkeys in the Hope Compound area. This week, they transitioned 3 donkeys who completed their rehab into the large herd. One of them was pregnant and we’re happy to share that she gave birth yesterday!

Friendicoes Equine Program July Update - Caring for Mules and Navigating the Floods
In the heights of Kedarnath, our project partner Friendicoes set up a 3 week camp to care for the hardworking mules that guide pilgrims up to the sacred shrine of Lord Shiva. These tough treks take a toll on the animals, and our team was there to treat every ache, pain, and injury that came their way. The team treated 1,997 cases, including colic, backsores, eye injuries, and lameness.

HIS Camel Rescue Centre July Update: Easing Camels Painful Wounds in Luniawas

Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary July Update - Leopard Encounter and School Partnerships
A wild update from Animal Nepal Dukuchhap Animal Sanctuary. Monsoon rains continue and an unexpected leopard visits! Thanks to robust safety measures, all the animals were safely indoors and no harm came to them. The sanctuary also welcomed students from Premier International School, who interacted with the animals and learned about animal welfare from Dr. Sajana, the sanctuary’s vet.

Blind Love Cart Horse July Update - 75 Horses Treated and Farrier Joins To Give Monthly Care!
July became a month of positive change for working cart horses. The Blind Love team was able to provide essential care and treatment to a record 75 horses during their outreaches! From treating saddle sores to deworming and distributing humane harnesses. The team is also excited to welcome a skilled farrier and will now hold monthly farrier outreaches. Nowzad July Update - Horse and Donkey Treatment in the Heat of Kabul’s Summer
