Crucial Vet Care for Working Equines + Two Gorgeous Donkey Foals Born

The compassionate team at Help in Suffering (HIS) in India are continuing to assist working equines in need, thanks to your kind donations.

From July to September, they provided equines with crucial veterinary care for colic, kidney failure, accidents and injuries, poor appetite, dental disease and maggot-infested wounds.

In addition, two beautiful donkey foals were born at their sanctuary!

During their monthly camp, three equines were provided with essential veterinary care.

  • One owner brought along his mare, who was suffering from colic. Fluid therapy and antispasmodic medication were administered.

  • An owner from Bassi brought in his two mares, who were both diagnosed with dermatitis. Appropriate treatment was provided.

Recently, two of HIS’s rescued donkeys gave birth to gorgeous foals!

  • Lilly gave birth to a male foal named Shakti.

  • Mariam gave birth to a female foal named Devi.

With your fantastic ongoing support, the dedicated HIS team will continue to alleviate suffering for working equines and care for the animals at their sanctuary. Together, we are creating a kinder world where every animal is valued and treated with respect.
