creating a kinder world for former working camels

With your kind support, the hardworking team at our partner camel sanctuary in Jodhpur have been busy rescuing animals in need, and improving the wellbeing and comfort of all their residents.

Their most recent update is below:

Recently, the sand at the sanctuary became compact and hard, which affected the animals’ comfort and movement. Using a tractor, the soil was ploughed to make it soft and level again, improving the living conditions for the camels.

Thanks to your fantastic donations, we now have a motorbike, which has significantly improved our field operations. Having this transport allows our team to reach surrounding villages quickly and efficiently to answer distress calls. During the final quarter of 2025, approximately 85 calls for help were answered across nearby villages.
