Caring for 40 Cart Horses and Rescuing a Horse from a Pit
Throughout November, Blind Love conducted a series of outreach events to care for cart horses in the community. Thank you to our kind-hearted supporters of Animal Aid Abroad. Your generous donations and compassion play an essential role in helping Blind Love provide care and support to working animals in South Africa.

Healing Wounds, Treating 35 Donkeys and Supporting Owners with Food Hampers
A big thank you to all our amazing supporters! Your compassion and care mean the world to working donkeys in desperate need of help. Because of you, together with our project partner Blind Love, we can provide treatments, humane harnesses, resources and kindness to support working animals.

Treating Wounds and Dehydration in Camels, Surgery for a Goat and Helping a Buffalo Calf After a Dog Bite
One day, the team visited the village of Luniawas, where a camel owner named Sitaram approached them with his camel. He explained that the camel had a wound on its lower jaw, which was infested with worms. The camel was in significant pain and visibly restless.

Life-saving Treatment and Equine Health and Well-being
Throughout this quarter, seven equine cases were attended to at the HIS campus, covering a variety of conditions such as colic, tick infestation, eye tumors, laceration wounds, anorexia, and diarrhea. The team also managed the Luniyawas camp, ensuring the welfare of these animals.

Blankets, Advanced Medical Care and a New Rain Shelter for Afghan’s Working Animals
In November, AAA supporters made a profound impact by helping Nowzad’s Working Animal Program deliver care and support to animals in Afghanistan, improving their well-being in the face of challenging conditions.

Nowzad Donkey Sanctuary in Afghanistan looks after several permanent residents who have been rescued from the typically difficult conditions for working animals in that country. Here you can see the donkeys who are being helped by generous donations from our supporters as well as some recent work on improvements at the sanctuary.

Your Support is Helping Camels: Treating Severe Eye Injuries and Colic
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and kind donations, the Camel Rescue Centre (CRC) team continues to provide life-saving care to animals in need. In November, a total of 19 outreach clinics were held, providing incredible care to 420 camels. Recently, the team tackled several challenging cases, offering assistance to camels in remote areas.

Efforts at the Pushkar Fair Showcase the Transformative Power of Kindness
Help in Suffering (HIS) is deeply grateful to AAA’s generous supporters, whose donations made it possible to care for hundreds of camels at the Pushkar Fair in Rajasthan. This annual event, held every October-November, is a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition in the ‘Thar’ desert, attracting traders and thousands of animals from across northern India.
