AAA Stall at the Perth Vegan Expo!

We had a fantastic time connecting with the community at the Perth Vegan Expo!

A huge thank you to our incredible Animal Aid Abroad (AAA) volunteers who passionately shared our mission of treating working animals with kindness and respect. Through heartfelt conversations, they helped raise awareness about the challenges faced by working animals and how donations help provide medical care, education and rescue through our global project partners.

We raised a brilliant $908.50 - every cent going directly towards initiatives that support working animals in need around the world.

Congratulations to Kerrie Ferguson, the lucky winner of our Vegan Raffle Basket!

It was heartening to meet so many new faces who had never heard of our work, as well as reconnect with longtime supporters who dropped by to say "Hi", share encouraging words, make a purchase, or simply have a chat about how our work is going.

A special moment came when a young girl's face lit up at the sight of one of our brightly decorated camels from Delhi. She eagerly chose one to take home and we had the joy of sharing its story with her and her mum, how these beautiful ornaments are lovingly handmade by women in some of Delhi’s poorest districts, raising funds to support their own communities.

The atmosphere was warm and joyful, with dogs and kids playing, like-minded people gathering and plenty of friendly banter. As the weekend came to a close, we packed up our treasures - including the beloved camels, ready to share the AAA story again at our next event. We look forward to meeting even more supporters who will take home one of our symbolic donkeys, camels, or elephants, knowing their purchase supports our mission for working animals.
