Equines Cosy for Winter Thanks to AAA Donors

Recently, Animal Aid Abroad received urgent requests from two of our overseas partner groups who run fantastic programs for working equines. Friendicoes in India and Animal Nepal both desperately required blankets for donkeys, horses, mules and ponies to keep them warm during winter. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to respond swiftly to this urgent need and allocate funding for essential equine coats.

The Friendicoes’ team have now distributed two hundred blankets for equines working on the streets of India. A very kind supporter, Francesca Hunter, has also made it possible for Friendicoes to purchase warm blankets for fifty rescued horses at their sanctuary.

Despite significant issues with border crossings, equine coats have now also reached Animal Nepal.

Huge thanks to all our supporters and donors who have ensured many working and rescued equines in India and Nepal will now be comfortable and warm throughout the cold winter.
