Thanks to your compassionate support, Animal Aid Unlimited are able to provide 25 rescued donkeys with care, love and attention within their two sanctuaries in India.

Animal Aid Unlimited currently has 15 male donkeys in our sanctuary and nine females and one male at our Animal Birth Control (ABC) centre.
A sanctuary resident, Brayden, is currently in the hospital section to receive treatment and keep a close eye on a wound on his deformed hoof, which unfortunately makes him prone to injuries. Two other donkeys, Veeru and Smokey, are receiving treatment in the sanctuary for minor wounds.
One of the donkeys admitted to our hospital a few months ago will be transferred to our sanctuary and will become a lifelong resident there, since he has a permanent limp and cannot be released. A female donkey at the ABC centre is being treated for a superficial wound on her chest.
The rest of the donkeys are healthy and enjoyed staying dry and safe during monsoon season in their new barn. They share the barn with Booster the Rooster, who has become an honorary donkey!
There are currently four donkeys in our hospital who are receiving treatment for various issues such as wounds and fractures. Two more donkeys were admitted and released during the past three months.
We are tremendously grateful to Animal Aid Abroad’s supporters for your vital support of our mission. We look forward to continuing saving working animals together in the coming years.
