New Project- Liberia/Guinea helping working cattle
Animal Aid Abroad has partnered with Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society (LAWCS) to help needy and suffering working cattle in neighbouring Guinea. Cows are used in Guinea as working animals without knowledge about basic welfare needs of these animals. Their life is horrible, unbearable, and unacceptable. Sick and wounded animals are forced and beaten to work. This is mainly done by children who should be at school. The animals receive no compassion, but only pain and suffering. The good news, help is on it’s way. AAA will help support a sustainable program that will educate the owners about kindness, respect, responsibility and welfare of their animals, along with free veterinary care and treatment. Stay tuned for an update on this program next month.
