TAWESO making a difference in Tanzania

Some great news from the Tanzania Animal Welfare Society (TAWESO) who have been surveying to see how the new humane carts they distributed to people and groups working with donkeys in the Mtera area.

It is very encouraging to see that the donkeys using them are healthy and without wounds. The communities are very much motivated to continue using the correct carts and harnessing as they can physically see the difference that has been made in a very short amount of time.

Many thanks to the AAA supporters for helping this vital and valuable project. It has greatly relieved the donkeys from suffering with the old and inhumane oxen yokes.
