Sri Lanka's first Donkey Clinic and Education Centre

Animal Aid Abroad has been supporting Mannar Donkey Management and Welfare to build Sri Lanka's first Donkey Clinic and Education Centre, which is now receiving it's finishing touches. Thanks to the help from AAA, along with The Donkey Sanctuary UK, more donkeys are able to receive the care they deserve.

AAA has also helped the organisation in the modification of a small truck for the purpose of their donkey rescue operation. Prior to this, the organisation had to hire a truck at great expense for each donkey rescue. With the new truck currently being worked on to make it fit for purpose, the number of donkeys able to be attended to has increased dramatically.
