Israel Update: A severe case of cruelty for one little donkey

Our partner group, Pegasus had a particularly busy month with rescuing quite a few horses and donkeys but one donkey really stood out as a severe case of cruelty.
Zvika, who runs Pegasus received a disturbing call from a man who was horrified at seeing a donkey lit on fire. The poor little donkey had been burned till his skin peeled, eyes swelled shut and possibly blinded.
Zvika sped into action and brought the donkey right away to the caring staff of the animal hospital.
After a couple of days of burn therapy and intensive care treatment, the little guy was released and is now in the loving hands of the Pegasus sanctuary.
They named him NESS- Hebrew for miracle.
He has miraculously survived the burning by human hands and will fortunately be able to see in at least one eye.
It will be a slow recovery for little NESS but he has the support of all his new farm friends that are making him feel right at home. We will bring you another update on Ness's recovery in a couple of weeks.
Thanks to your help and donations we are able to support Pegasus to carry out these rescues and pay for the care of animals such as Ness. Thank you.
