Help in Suffering India - Quarterly report: Oct - Dec 2022.

Please find following the quarterly equine report from Help in Suffering (HIS), India, covering October to December 2022.

During the third quarter of 2022, the HIS team saw and treated many cases of colic and dehydration causing weakness.

One young mare was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, and another mare presented with multiple chronic wounds all over it’s body. One more mare was brought in suffering with a maggot infested wound and yet another with a tumor on the hind limb. All of these animals were treated appropriately, and made good recoveries. They were all also treated for tetanus and given deworming treatment.

Currently at the rescue centre in Bassi, there are 9 equines in total - 7 donkeys, 1 stallion, and 1 mule.
