Sabry is a regular visitor to the clinic, he first came with a really bad saddle sore. With time the saddle sore started to heal and he no longer needed to come every day, so he was gone for a couple of weeks. Then after two weeks, he showed up again with another saddle sore because his owner listened to some of his friends and replaced the cushion we recommended with some folk treatment. Sabry's owner is now committed to following the vet’s advice and is coming every day and the new injury is starting to heal.
Mido was one of the first cases for the Egyptian Society of Animal Friends (ESAF) camel clinic; his first owner came to us desperate with a really deep wound in Mido's left front hoof caused by a sharp glass from the road. Mido was his first owner's only camel, who couldn't afford being out of business till his camel was fully cured. Mido was a cheap deal for his new owner who is a really kind person who committed to take Mido to the ESAF clinic every day for his daily shots and dressing, depending on his other camel to support the family. Mido's owner started to work him a week ago as the wound in his hoof is now quite superficial and stepping on his left hoof is not painful to him anymore, but Mido is still following up with the vets till his hoof is totally healed.
