AAA provides medicines for mobile vet clinic that visits working donkeys in the brick kilns in Kathmandu Valley [ Latipur District] January 2010
Each kiln receives a visit from the mobile vet clinic once a fortnight, there are 10 kilns visited over the 2 week period with no clinics on a Saturday and Monday.
The vets are also on-call to attend or treat sick or emergency cases at any time.
Approximately 500 donkeys work in the Latipur District. The Animal Nepal vets provide not only medical treatment but also teach the owners and donkey handlers how to look after and treat their animals better.
