You can make a big difference to the life of an injured, abused and overworked horse/donkey in Israel by adopting an animal in need.
In early 2013, Animal Aid Abroad teamed up with the Pegasus Society for the Protection of Horses and Donkeys in Israel. Pegasus is a non-profit organization working to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, abused and neglected horses and donkeys in Israel and the Palestinian territories. Since its foundation in 2007, Pegasus has rescued over 900 abused and abandoned horses and donkeys. Many have subsequently found loving homes, however there are still over 50 rescued horses and donkeys who currently call the sanctuary home, with more rescue stories each month.
Each donkey or horse offered for adoption has been rescued from a life of toil or abuse and now lives safely at the Susita Sanctuary in Kefar Shmuels, central Israel.
Your sponsorship provides the animal of your choice with the necessary food, shelter, care and medical treatment if required. You will receive a certificate of adoption and one detailed sponsor update per year. Sponsorships can also be made in the name of a friend, family member or a business name.

Payments over $2 for Sponsorships, Donations and Gifts are tax deductible. All sponsorships up to $500 or over come with a Life Membership with Animal Aid Abroad.
Each equine needs six x $100 [$600] to help towards their care, food and treatment for one year.
