Can you adopt White Beauty?Written by AAA Created Friday, 05 June 2009 Her Story White Beauty’s life before coming to her new home was a very sad one. She was rescued from the nearby brick kiln where she worked non-stop carrying very heavy loads of bricks on her sore infested back. As a result of this very hard life her spine and legs have become crooked because of the heavy loads she carried. When she was rescued she had open wounds on her back, neck and the backside of her legs as the pictures show. She was coughing badly, was very weak and obviously in a lot of pain from internal and external injuries. Parts of her body still get swollen from time to time on her neck and udder and she still suffers from stomach and eye problems. White Beauty is starting to trust people but is a loner even with the other donkeys and horses. Her favourite food is carrots which she didn’t know existed until her rescuers introduced them to her. Can you help? As you can see from the pictures White Beauty’s life is a much happier one but her rescuers need help to keep her by providing on-going medication for her reoccurring health problems, food and essential vitamins and supplements. The orphanage also employs workers to look after the donkeys and horses. You can help White Beauty and give her second chance in life by adopting her. If you would like to adopt White Beauty please go to our Adoptions page for details. You can also see some of the other animals that need adopting like Romeo, Juliet, Karnali, Sundari and Stormy.
